Client wanted to take existing patented technology into the Handheld PDA and Cell Phone environments for use with Media Portals and to design on the iPhone. They needed to develop a whole new concept and design with new icons, a new GUI (Graphical User Interface) and a complete database of content for Movies, Music, TV, News, Sports, and the Web.

Solution: During the development of this project we created an iPhone Emulator and Interface for the client as well as all new icons and a truly unique GUI for Media. A cross-platform emulator of the iPhone handheld device was created to protoype and demonstrate the interface. Client played a large role in changing and developing the interaction for this project.

Client wanted to take existing patented technology into the Handheld PDA and Cell Phone environments for use with SMS (Short Message System) texting and Navigation. They needed to develop a whole new concept and design with new icons, a new GUI (Graphical User Interface) and a complete database of phrases in six languages including French, Spanish, German, English, Japanese and Chinese.

Solution: During the development of this project we created 256 new patent claims for the client as well as all new icons and a truly unique GUI for SMS. A cross-platform emulator of the PocketPC handheld device was created to protoype and demonstrate the interface. Client played a large role in changing and developing the interaction for this project. An Address book was created in the custom built emulator as well as an Editor, Navigator, SMS application and eight sample games.

Client needed to create a product logo that was more in touch with the look and feel of the product offering, @themoment. The existing product logo was a rough idea but did not compliment the product fully. The new logo shows the vitality and progressive nature of the @themoment product.

The new @themoment logo was further put onto more than a dozen t-shirts, coffee mugs and gifts and an online store was setup for client purchasing and promotional gifts.

Client also needed to update their existing Corporate Identity Logo to be more in line with the company philosophy and direction.

Clent needed to demonstrate and teach the unique aspects of their patented technology to a diverse audience with the ability to update the content often.

Solution: Presentations were prepared using custom templates for use in PowerPoint as well as Macromedia Director and Flash. Content included Quicktime Video, Animation and thousands of screen shots of existing  hardware. Hundreds of presentations were created from which to draw on for present and future custom presentations. This series of presentations has been used for seven years now and has stood up to the need for constant updates.

The client had an idea for a multi-language phrase book translator based upon an existing patented technology.

Solution: Create from initial concept to final prototype an iconic phrase translator. A cross-platform executable application was created with a complex iconic database retrieval  system. The system includes databases for five languages, German, French, Italian, Spanish and English. A phrase is entered via the iconic keyboard and is displayed in the language of choice and translated into the language of choice. A web based component was added to allow the system to send the translations over the internet to another system.  This prototype was used as the basis for starting a whole new company designed to take this technology to Handheld PDAs and Cell Phones.

The client needed an informative and instructional CD for distribution and marketing. The instructional material for this client was only available from many different people and in many different formats. The client also needed to distribute emulators of their hardware systems.

Solution: Collect the material in a format that each person was familiar with i.e. Powerpoint and text files.  The material  was then organized and formated into a similar style using custom templates. A cross-platform application was created to navigate this content and voiceovers were added. An interactive glossary and bookmark system were integrated into the application. A section was added to allow registration and downloading of the clients emulators. A Flash movie was created and then added to the application and a master CD was created for mass duplication.
